A brand new luxurious Scandinavian style 2 bedroom lodge set in the Cornish countryside with adjacent fishing lakes 6 miles from Padstow and 8 miles from the surfing mecca of Newquay. This high quality accommodation within the holiday village of Retallack Resort and Spa offers a fully equipped leisure centre including a heated indoor swimming pool leading onto an outdoor sun terrace. There is a gym with a personal trainer, a 9 hole par 3 golf course, two tennis courts and spa facility including a sauna, steam room and beauty treatment rooms with licensed coffee and panini bar. The adventure playground and planned activities during the school holidays makes Retallack Resort and Spa ideal for couples and families.
Rest assured that upon your arrival your lodge will be spotlessly clean using only approved bio-degradable cleaning agents. During your stay should you need assistance booking a table at a top Cornish restaurant, tickets for a local attraction or simply a piece of advice from people who know and love the area please call our Concierge service whose details are supplied at the lodge.
The lodge is equipped with contemporary oak furnishings, brand new fixtures and fittings and enjoys airy, spacious and light surroundings. Satellite TV and internet access are provided for your convenience. The accommodation allows for the lounge with sofa, pouffe, flat screen TV and DVD player and fully fitted kitchen/diner on the ground floor. The master bedroom on the first floor has a balcony where guests can relax with a glass of wine overlooking the rural countryside. The second bedroom has a “zip and fix” bed which can be used as a king size double or two full size single beds.
Outside the lodge is a large decked area with quality wooden garden furniture.
Retallack is the perfect holiday home base from which to visit the Eden Project and the Lost Gardens of Heligan, enjoy the cuisine at Rick Stein’s Seafood Restaurant at Padstow and Jamie Oliver’s ‘Fifteen’ at Watergate Bay or take the family to one of the many golden sandy beaches stretching from Padstow to Newquay.
